Colored Fruit

Color psychology is extremely important in the world of fashion and interior design for its extraordinary beauty and the effects it has on our mood and emotions.  The colors of food can also have an essential effect on our physical and emotional state.  What color of the rainbow are you craving?

“Homegrown” is the emerging new trend.   Individuals are seeking out Farmer’s markets in their local communities to purchase fresh produce and home baked goods that are not loaded with chemicals and preservatives.  We are starting to see lawns being replaced by vegetable gardens – even at the White House.  The colors of a purple egg plant, red strawberry, yellow squash and dark leafy greens deliver natural goodness and provide healing and vitalizing energy.

We are always drawn to the brightest colored fruits and vegetables when selecting produce.  The bright colors indicate the produce to be fresh and best tasting.  Scientists have proven the brightest foods to have the highest nutritional value.  When we choose specific colored foods, it can rejuvenate and bring balance to your system giving your body more energy.  Dieticians often suggest a rainbow diet.

Beautiful Body – 90 Day Challenge

Do you believe that everyone can achieve everything they could ever desire?  Well most of the population would tend to disagree with that statement because most of us are not lucky enough to have everything we could ever want…health, relationships, career or financial freedom but we can and it is the methodology of how we think.  It is the Universal laws that govern your time-space-reality and allow each one of us to create our own outcome with the flow of energy.

Spring has finally arrived and it is so nice to see the mountains of snow finally starting to disappear that I decided I should start exercising.  Now anyone that knows me well enough knows that I am not the most active person out there by any stretch.  I read the book Ask and It is Given which highly motivated me to change the way I think and one of my desires was to loose a few pounds for the summer.  I decided to take the plunge and start working on some of the techniques aided in the book, and viola I was introduced to my new goal.  It is a 90 day challenge to put you on the right track to a healthier lifestyle so whether you are interested in just maintaining your current weight, losing 10-20 lbs, 20 + pounds, or converting some body fat to toning and muscle building they have it all.   I am not a large person and don’t require losing a bunch of weight so my desire was to really concentrate on muscle tone and loss of body fat.  I got so excited about this new adventure I am about to embark on I decided that I want to run a challenge and get more people involved to make this a really great experience and positive one for everyone involved.  So I thought – what would be more fun than creating a few teams of individuals and run a competition.  The person to succeed with the greatest achievement on each team would get their pick of any item on the MVA website for free as their personal reward.  I definitely want to run a Calgary vs. Edmonton team competition and would like minimum 3 individuals per team so everyone can encourage each other.  As for anyone else that thinks they would like to give this challenge a whirl I would love to create more teams if the interest is there.  How do I know if the challenge works, well I have seen it first hand and have been so excited for my sister of whom I’m sure will have no problem reaching her short term goal of 20 pounds in a month’s time.  If you can regain dietary control of problem foods and improve your health that is worth it in itself!  I would like to have teams in line within the next week so, please let me know if you are interested and would like more details.

Some people may have said well I’ve tried everything under the sun and nothing works for me.  Why is that, why does nothing seem to work?  After several attempts of fad diets, weight watchers and everything else that is out there under the sun the results just don’t always seem to take form.  However, some people do see results at a much faster rate, why?  Does it have to have anything to do with the way we think?  If we could all use the Law of Attraction to think and focus on the positive aspects we will attract this to ourselves.  I would suggest trying a few techniques out just to test the theory for yourself, you will need to have a pen and paper on hand.  Here are some examples of techniques I have recently learned.  On a piece of paper title it MY BODY.  Below that start to write This is what I desire regarding my body. You only need to write a short list of things you desire that come easily to your mind that you desire.  Under each statement of desire about your body write the reasons why you want each of those things.

I want to return to my ideal body weight.   …because I feel best when I’m that weight.   …because I’ll be able to shop for new clothes.

I want to feel strong and fit.    …because I love having energy to do all the things I want to do.   …because it feels good.

This exercise will assist in focusing on the most important issues to you regarding your body.  When you focus your energy on these statements of desire you activate this energy and the positive flow of energy.  The Universe will deliver to you the vibrational essence of your every desire as long as you do not offer resistance to the flow of energy.

I seem to know what I don’t want more often than what I do want.  I am really working on trying to develop the things that I really do want.  If we can refocus negative emotion towards things we don’t want and redirect it to a positive thought or something that feels slightly better, then you will have successfully just raised your vibratory rate.  So maybe you might think I feel fat, and I want to feel slender and you start by telling yourself I want to be slender again.  This might be a stretch for achieving your desire because maybe in the back of your mind you are really thinking this is a bit of a reach and it is unlikely you will succeed causing negative thoughts.  Rather, start your focus on things that revolve around that statement in items that you know you believe and make you feel better.  For example  I’ll find something that will work for me, my body will feel more refreshed, new ideas will come to me, or I like taking control of my own experience.

These are just a couple examples of how to change your thinking habits and help develop positive energy flow.  I have come to the conclusion that my approach on several aspects of my life have not been in line with the Universal Laws of Attraction and I am going to practice, practice and practice to become more conscious of my thoughts and divert some of the negative to positive energy change.  The book Ask and It Is Given is a great read and will influence your thought process.

Join me in the 90 Day Challenge and see if it has a positive impact for you.  I’m extremely excited to get under way and can’t wait to see the results for myself.
